  : People were smoking and talking right outside my door until well after 11pm, my room stank of smoke. Furniture looked old.

  : Nice, decent place to stop on our way to stay at Mt. Shasta. It seems to be an older motel style accommodation that has been upgraded. Some nice touches include a solid wood bed with a comfortable mattress. This is a pretty little mountain town; the manager recommended the bakery right opposite the Amtrak station for breakfast, which turned out to be the nicest little place. I'd absolutely go back to Dunsmuir. All things considered, I would recommend this hotel for any travelers.
  : The price was a little bit high, but I can't complain, and prices were typical of the area for high season. We got a good night's sleep. When using the shower, you must turn the water to hot and wait about a minute. Seems the water heater is at the office building and our room was furthest. Once the hot water arrived, the shower was very decent.

  : We tried to take a walk down to the meadow and my husband stepped in dog poop. Also observed the manager watering persistently around the picnic table where a family was sitting. It seemed almost as if he wanted them to leave. Which they did eventually
