  : Beautiful cosy loch side Inn, always a warm welcome. Lovely breakfast everything you need for an overnight stop or longer.

  : Lovely place with fabulous views. Very dog friendly. Staff great , nothing too much trouble.
  : Nothing really but please be aware that if you have Mobility issues the staircase is narrow and steep.

  : Great old property (1650!!) with loads of character and in a fabulous position by the loch. Our room was on the back so we couldnt see the loch but there was a fallen tree which had a wildlife feeding station on it and we saw a red squirrel which made our day!
  : The nature of the old building means that there is a very tight spiral stair to get to the room. It added to the atmosphere but could have been tricky for anyone with mobility issues.Also, our room didnt have a bedside table on one side which would have helped for putting our clock and nighttime water glass on.

  : Ive been coming to The Coylet for years and this visit was for my partners birthday. I was a little disappointed in a few things. I had contacted them ahead of time to ask when the room would be ready (just on the off chance) and had no response, the bed was very uncomfortable, the room stank of bleach when we arrived, the lock on the door didnt work properly, the dinner was very average- more batter than fish and no music/fire in the bar. Its the little things that usually keep me coming back, but they felt a little lacking for what could have been a really special occasion.

  : The location was fabulous being immediately opposite the loch. Our room had the perfect view.
  : Unfortunately with it being on the Loch side road the early morning traffic was a little annoying. At least it got us up! Our room was awkward as the eves jutted into the room which meant walking around the bed almost on our knees to prevent hitting your head on the ceiling. There was no proper reception so we just hung around in the porch way until a member of staff came along. Not very welcoming. The stairs to our room were steep and narrow. It was like climbing a mountain!
