  : Pleasant little cottage in the hill country, but insanely overpriced
  : This was a very basic accommodation at a luxury hotel price. I signed up for the quoted price of 318 per night, but with some reservations. This alone made the rental very expensive. However only when I came to payment did I find a "resort fee" that added $150, and a "cleaning fee" that added another $50. All told, the bill was over $900 for two nights. I paid and stayed, but expected way more than I got for this price. What "resort" did I pay for? This was a cottage on basic land. No pool, no spa, no workout room. Nothing at all that would imply "resort", just a way to make profit that is totally unjustified.. And a "cleaning fee??? Isn't that usually part of the assumed service, that you will arrive in a clean room and leave assuming the owners will clean up? Its not like we left mud on the floor or tore up the bedding. This is a disgusting way to hide the true cost of the room.
