  : This place is perfect especially for a minimalist and perfectionist like myself. It has everything one could hope to have but nothing extra and no clutter, just the essentials. I loved the layout of the place with the small fully functional kitchen and open plan living/dining room downstairs. The dining area has a backdrop of the beautiful countryside and distant mountains from the terrace windows. The upstairs area is reserved for the two cosy bedrooms. As a bonus the owners also left us a bottle of prosecco. There are many hikes starting around this location for which you don't even need to drive. In addition, the spectacular Chopok mountain is just an hour drive from here and well worth a visit. Other places good for hiking around an hour drive from here are tovsk waterfall, Rieka and Mala Fatra.
  : The only thing I didn't like at first was the fact that the bathroom was all the way downstairs right near the main door. This could be a bit annoying if you need to access it in the middle of the night. Eventually it grew on me and found it even better since I didn't even need to take my luggage upstairs. Unfortunately the man who greeted us did not speak a word of English. Thankfully he is fluent in Italian and we managed to communicate. In addition, he was not really knowledgeable on things to do in the surrounding area. I usually love getting tips and hiking recommendations from locals instead of spending hours looking up information on various blogs and online resources.
