  : We emailed ahead 4 days before arrival to explain one of us was gluten free. The email was never answered so we called to check our reservation and they confirmed all was ok. We asked for the gluten-free option at breakfast and received a shrug of the shoulders and an offer of cheese. We felt a sense of being guests that didnt matter to them.
  : 1st day we found the baths thermostat mixer wasnt working and the shower/bath ran tepid water. We explained to one staff member and again a shrug of the shoulders and an oh well response. As a family of four we had no washing facilities for four days other then sink water over New Years. No apology or offer of help. Again we felt of no consequence to them. We were told the restaurant attached was closed New Years Day so brought food from the supermarket to feed ourselves lunch and dinner but they were open for lunch. A sad feeling of not wanting to welcome us continued. Our New Years lunch and dinner heated in their broken dusty old microwave on the top floor landing. We have been here before and we felt very sad at how it has changed since our last visit, from the washing and cooking facilities to the quality of food produced at breakfast. They are good people but we felt unwelcome.

  : Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Area for storing bikes securely. Didn't have breakfast here, as we had an excellent dinner meal the night before at the grill attached to the hotel.
