  : A super place which is far, far better than your average hostel. The hostel is part of a development that was only built a few years ago so, as one would expect, everything still has that 'brand new' feel to it. The rooms were spacious, had comfortable beds, great shower and were immaculately clean. The staff were excellent and provided excellent communication even before we had booked - a huge THANK YOU to Lorena & Estalla who really were wonderful and super helpful. Although we arrived by train - the 'Catrina resort' offer a free shuttle service by the way - there are excellent parking facilities of you're coming by car and they also have secure cycle storage. The hostel is ideally located within spitting distance of a ski lift and mountain bike trails. It's a 20 min walk to town but there are buses although I'm uncertain of timings. There is a large Co-Op in the complex and there are several bars and restaurants that are part of the Cristina group....although, sadly, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.
  : The restaurant that we went to (Stiva Ursus) was very average and not good value for money so it was a bit of a let down compared to the overall experience of staying in the resort which was excellent.
