  : Location with great view of Depoe Bay. Was able to whale watch from the balcony. Walking distance to the main drag. Room was clean and comfortable. The most conscientious owners who went out of their way to help you enjoy your stay.This was my anniversary and my wifes recovery from cancer. The owners had provided a most thoughtful and personal touch with two hand written cards, some sparkling wine, and a gift for my wife waiting in the room upon check-in.This really made an impression on us. Next time we return to Depoe Bay we plan to be repeat customers.

  : The carpet throughout our room was filthy, with big dark stains and visibly dirty paths through the room. The smoke detector flashes a bright strobe flash once every 30 seconds all night long, which lit up the whole room and drove us absolutely nuts. Mini-fridge made a loud buzzing and ringing noise intermittently throughout the night. The hotel's beach access was closed which was only mentioned to us just after we paid, and there is no other nearby beach access. Furniture in the room felt unclean and low quality, and the layout of the room was bad; despite the room being large, there were not enough surfaces for our things and we both bumped our shins on the awkward flared bed frames multiple times while walking around the room. Really disappointing.
