  : Lovely house facilities and area.
  : Some of the cushions and furniture downstairs smelt a bit stale. I would suggest they need taking outside and being banged to get the dust out and freshen up.

  : The home was modern and the decor nice, spacious and comfortable. The vending milkshake machines down the road are the first I have ever seen and would not have known if this hadn't been pointed out by the host and a few bottles left on the side for you to take to the machines to try - we checked out a few during our visit. This is a very green house that takes care of the environment - well done! recycling everything recyclable and providing green, natural resources via the kitchen and the bathroom. Despite the list of things which we found to be not what we expected, which I think ought to be made clearer on the listing - .. the house is nice and is definately secluded. If you haven't got pets with you and are not phased by the odd vehicle/tractor passing through then this could be worth a visit. This is off the beaten track therefore maybe are the neighbours or neighbouring farmers or workers from the wood yard. Saying this we did enjoy our stay.
  : OK, so the biggest disappointment was being told that the garden was secure when in fact it wasn't, far from it - the garden is a through road and available for anyone to access/travel through. Tractors at 10.30pm, at night coming through the garden, pick up trucks and cars. Had we had been enjoying the sun with a barbecue on the patio it would have been disturbed by this and not really acceptable, no mention of this in the listing. Also if my dog had have been out then it would have posed a danger to her, getting hurt or being let out into the wilderness never to be seen again.The garden has no fence, it has shrubs. lawns, trees and open spaces with no security at all. When I enquired prior to booking I was told that it was secure with the exception of the cattle grid - it is not so unless your dog has perfect recall then maybe continue your search - mine is a lurcher therefore wouldn't have booked this accommodation had I have known.There is a muck track, very bumpy, dusty and narrow lanes to access the property from the main road, approx 2 miles. This did not phase me but it could if you are not a very confident driver as you may meet someone coming the opposite direction and need to reverse - for quite a distance in some areas.The HOT water needs to come with a warning sign - this is the hottest water I have ever experienced & scalded myself in the kitchen.The agar is a nice touch and fits in nicely with the decor but how on earth you are suppose to cook on it I have no idea - attempted to boil some chicken, the pot never boiled, didn't even get to a simmer in the hour plus that it was on, gave up after that. Maybe this is my ignorance but if not it is something that likely needs attention. This also heats the open plan living area, which would be bliss in the winter but as it is on all of the time, on a nice day like the few we have just had it is too overpowering and leaves you sweating.

  : Property was in a lovely location with great views. The owner was very helpful and delivered a fire pit that was great.
  : The unmade road to get to the property was dreadful. We were going to take two cars of which one would have been a sports car. Luckily we all went in one car if we had not the Porsche would have been destroyed trying to reach the property.

  : Lovely well equipped cottage with beautiful big garden and could walk straight in to the forest with the dogs. Also enjoyed the log burner. Owner kindly sent us items we had left behind.
  : It is a down a small country lane and bumpy track so wouldnt recommend taking an expensive sports car down there. Stairs in the house are steep to bear in mind if you have elderly people staying.
