  : The location is the hotel's main attraction ( and what one actually pays for) offering good views of the park and easy access to it.The interiors, especially the reception and the restaurant, maintain their old charm. The staff was polite and helpful.We had booked a Standard Hillside View room (for $350 per night) and we were given a complimentary upgrade to a room with a view next to the outdoor terrace. The terrace, accessible to all guests, provided a decent spot to look at the night sky and part of the park.
  : Unfortunately, the room didn't live up to its appearance in the photos. It was smaller and more worn-out than expected. The heating/cooling system was old, smelly, and noisy, despite the helpful maintenance staff's efforts. We had to set the thermostat to maximum heat to stop the noise, leading to discomfort during sleep due to excessive warmth. The ventilation noise and unpleasant odor persisted in the hallways. The room wasn't perfectly clean, with dusty areas, and we avoided using the ceiling fan due to excessive dust. The bathroom and shower doors didn't close properly. While the reception offered a partial refund on our meal, it felt like a symbolic gesture. At $350 per night, the stay was overpriced given these issues.

  : The property truly is an oasis in the desert. We made good use of the pool, and the star gazing deck. Everything was clean, and there was plenty of parking. Food was a little pricier than I had expected, but it is a spot in the middle of nowhere. We wandered over to the General Store for most of our meals and fared better. The only real negative, for us, was that the air conditioning in our room wasn't really working. The evenings were a little warmer than we had hoped. But, again, for a nice, comfortable room in the middle of the desert, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Oasis to other travelers.

  : Poor food in dining room, we had the pasta. Very poor, huge plate bland overcooked tasteless with dry chicken on top. Such a shame the food cannot live up to the rest of the standard of the hotel.
