  : The room is really good, though a bit small. But they really made an effort to meet standard of a better hotel. There were free drinks in the minibar, a bathrobe, slippers, very comfy bed, and pretty decent interior design. The location is in the direct city center which can be a plus, but it is extremely noisy in the weekend. If you don't mind the plebs and the noise, this is a good place to stay.
  : As the property is located directly between the shopping street and the Dsseldorf party mile, you are confronted with a certain audience that flocks to these areas. At night (I stayed there from Friday to Saturday) it is extremely noisy, hard music, yelling people, couples shouting out their relationship issues, etc. I will not stay here again.

  : - Lots of amenities for free, e.g. a mini bar, coffee, tea, slippers and more. - Location in the middle of the old town.
  : - Towels and bathrobes smelled horribly mouldy, they could not even be used to dry the hands - shower randomly switches from ice cold to boiling hot- Extremely loud despite closed windows- steep and narrow staircase, no elevator - low quality hair dryer that overheats and turns off after a minute (plastic was molten, too)- hard and uncomfortable pillows - unnecessary housekeeping: bed was barely made, only trash was taken out. Dirty dishes were left. Felt weird that someone was in my room without proper cleaning. Either do it complete or not at all, which would have been preferred. - old building, so spiderwebs everywhere.

  : Its location is perfect, right in the old town where the sights, the restaurants, Rhine River and the bars and night spots all are.Its cosy and unique in that its a smaller space but its lots of fun to be there, with the owners putting everything into the space that enhances the experience, we loved the feel of it.
  : Definitely need eye shades (there is a very bright street light right outside the window) and ear plugs ( the price you pay for being in the action center) but if you have those two things all is sweet.

  : Very central and convenient location. Rooms were compact but lovely and well appointed. Bed was comfortable and in-room facilities were as expected.
  : If you're booking this hotel you need to be aware of two things. 1. This hotel is not on a main road so you'll have to walk with your suitcases through the town for about 6 or 7 minutes. With our cases in the rain this wasn't a very pleasurable experience. 2. This hotel does NOT have an elevator. We were on the 3rd floor and with 2 heavy suitcases and a very narrow stairwell it was not easy to get up to the room. If you struggle with any form of physical exercise then do NOT book this hotel.

  : Nicely renovated old building. Hotel room size apartment. Friendly and clear communication.
  : Noisy at night (music etc). Shower went from hot to cold by itself.

  : received a message from host via booking.com explaining process of using the code on the door lock. code needed for front door on street level and another needed for room. location was perfect, i was on top floor and had no noise from the footpath below. it was great to be able to open the windows to let in some fresh air. TV/NETFLIX worked very well.
  : as mentioned in many previous posts, the stair case is very narrow.
