  : The room was great. Clean, nicely decorated and the kitchen was right outside the door.

  : We didn't like anything about this hotel. The town is interesting.
  : To access this hotel you have to find a single doorway, opening direct from the sidewalk on the main street. An envelope which has contact instructions (via text) taped to the outside of the door signals you are in the right place. We drove by several times before finally spotting it. Opening the door you climb a narrow stairway 26 steps up to the floor where the rooms are with your belongings. There is only public parking on the street or a block away so the climb isn't welcome if you are toting a suitcase or 2. Fire safety in the stairs would be non-existent, no egress. The main door on the street stays unlocked all night and the room can be locked. The walls of the room are paper thin and there is about an inch and a half space under the door, so that you can hear every word and sound coming from the adjacent next room and hall. In our case we were next to a foul mouthed woman having sex with a visitor who left. We heard everything! No place for a family. The washing machine/dryer in the hall outside the room echoed in the walls and the same person was running it all afternoon and evening. We sent a text and asked for our money back but were told we were too late, we should have texted when the disturbance occurred. They would move us to another room, but would not return any of our money. They offered a free stay in the future. We strongly do not recommend this hotel and would never stay there again. It is over priced, a fire danger, no security, and the walls are paper thin.

  : This was a great place to get away from the crowd and enjoy the winter solitude. Enjoy your time with a ghost story book or writing holiday emails, and enjoy this quiet place. In the morning, coffee was ready right outside my door and I was ready for a hike in the town.
  : I wish my room would have had a small desk at the window.
