  : Large and spacious room. Nice to have a fan to use to cool the room in the summer. Bed was very comfy, plenty of hot water for bath/showers. Good location and handy to be next to a pub for meals.
  : Quite dark/dimly lit in corridors and main light in room not that bright.

Characterful oldBuilding.We were very grateful for the late check in although we arrived before 11:30 and wondered why the staff had gone out for snacks..We had to ring them and wait for a while before two guys arrived in a taxi, slightly strange..?
  : The room was too warm, the ceiling in the bathroom near the basin and shower too short and and an adult would bump their head regularly. Also the hot water was scalding and should the temperature should be turned down asap. It quickly went from cold to hot without some time in between! The hallway in the hotel entrance was smelling of urine and the oldPub building and car park needs better maintanence and care..The breakfast staff and presentation was dreadful with a lack of care for the guests needs. There was embarrassingly dirty crockery and lack of energy and motivation/ customer service from ayoung, blond haired lady and a man who was manager with black hair. The lady laughed when we suggested getting dairy alternatives and the man made an excuse for the dirty glasses saying he didn’t put them out. They both seemed not that bothered and lazy despite many guests unhappy with the breakfast service. Wesuggest a massive improvement in customer service, hygiene standards, offering a wider selection of alternatives for dietary requirements and general attitude from your staff!?
