  : NOTHING It was a holiday from hell, I will never trust booking.com again to allow this to happen to one of their customers all because of poor communication from the host.
  : I booked this place last minute as my Airbnb booking had let me down. The apartment itself is more residential with the main entrance leading to the bedrooms on the ground floor, the kitchen and living room and 1 of the bathrooms are upstairs. I would not call this apartment luxury the sofa was very old and had tears on it, the boiler was leaking, there were no chest of draws in the master room. When we opened the window we got a bad smell of sewage from the drains. We booked the place for 2 weeks but had an awful sleepless night, it is very noisy it was windy and the windows and doors were rattling and banging all night, then the next door neighbours who live there, were up before 6am banging and using washing machines and dryers it was so noisy right behind the wall where our bed was. Just as it was getting quiet the noise started again but this was construction work, very loud drilling so loud we could not open the windows or sit on the terrace. I decided we did not want to put up with this for two weeks and asked the owner if we could cancel they said we could but they would only refund 70% I felt this was unfair after all this noise they could of been more understanding. I had to find another place to stay so our holiday wasnt completely ruined. The next day the owner messaged me asking where the key to the wardrobe was, I had no clue but asked my little girl I figured she may of been playing with it, turns out she was so I replied to the owner apologising and told him where she had left it on the chair in the same room. It wasnt till 2 weeks later I realised I still hadnt been refunded. I was owed nearly 600 euros, I messaged the owner again asking why Id not been refunded they did not reply, they made a decision not to refund me and didnt even let me know. Apparently they didnt receive my message where the key was and instead of contacting me again they decided to use my money to buy a wardrobe. booking.com were unhelpful so I have been badly ripped off

  : The process was well communicated by Laura
  : The balcony is reasonable but he furniture was poor and we had to buy our own cushions. We could not access the downstairs outside area because the patio door from the bedroom was broken. The kitchen facilities werent great and it wouldnt cost much to get some new cutlery and a toaster that doesnt require you to hold the lever down to make it work. The towels were small, hard and we only had two small bath towels. The cleaners arrived to change the bedding after a week but we werent expecting them

  : The property is located in a friendly and peaceful gated community, we felt extremely safe there and never had any problems with noise or neighbours. It's only about a ten minute walk to the main town of corralejo, a 5min drive to Mercadona (supermarket) and has a hiper-dino just round the corner (think tesco-express). The place is a really good size, both bedrooms are more than large enough and having two bathrooms is a definite bonus! The upstairs terrace gets a nice amount of sun in the morning but still enough shade to sit out there regardless. In terms of facilities, having access to general cleaning products, bin bags, a half decent TV and enough plates and cutlery to sink a small ship was definitely a win. Also having a washing machine was really helpful considering each day we were out hiking and surfing. The sofa is a good size and although not the newest, it is nice and clean and super comfortable. The clothes airer is also a really good size and everything dried overnight which is a blessing. The pools on site are accessed via a key which is really practical, you don't have to wait for it to open so you can pop in and have a swim whenever you like. Also these are probably the cleanest pools i've ever encountered. Every morning without fail the groundskeeper cleaned both pools! To be honest the best part of the property was just how easy it was to communicate with Laura the property manager. She was really friendly and always responded to any questions/made any needed arrangements really quickly and politely. We would 100% stay here again.
  : Being 6'4 I always struggle with showers, the shower heads are slightly lower but still usable and i didn't have to bend to wash my hair just angle the head outwards. A couple of the windows are a bit tricky to lock, but we weren't bothered by that because, as i said, its a gated community and everyone was really friendly. The one thing I would 100% want improved are the knives and pots and pans for cooking. There was only one "usable" chefs knife and one good sized frying pan and saucepan. If you don't plan on cooking much though this isn't a problem and the local restaurants are all reasonably priced. The oven/hob/fridge freezer however are all good and easy to use!
