: This hotel is a small boutique place located closely to the center/downtown of Copenhagen. It is absolutely charming and conveniently located. The staff is wonderful and helpful.

: Food is very good, both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast selection is not so great, but still products are of high quality. Design of bar and dining area is amazing. Social dining events are definitely worth trying - mind that all of that can be accessed outside of staying at hotel. I would recommend Kanalhuset for food, but no so much for the stay.
: Tons of stuff. First it is difficult to actually find the hotel and be welcomed. It is not clearly stated that reception is with the bar. The rooms in basement are not worth the price. Not nicely furnished, gloomy, spiders wandering in. It is basement so you see pedestrians feet and get a lot of noise from the street and surroundings. The room was noisy in general, and we heard our neighbors and parties that were held in upper parts of hotel. Housekeeping is coming to room everyday, but the cleaning is far from great. After few days stay the room was just messy, as no-one even vacuumed the floor. Towels were changed as needed, but most of the time they smelled like vinegar. No water, tea, or slippers in the room. No option to order any food in hotel in the evening, outside of strictly booked social dining at 7 pm. Staff making mistakes - we had few beers on our tab that we didn't order. That was corrected, but was unpleasant anyway. In general the experience was not worth the price at all, and we left very disappointed in our stay.
