  : The pod itself was clean. Not sure whether the previous guest cleaned it or if the property did. But that was the only positive.
  : The main issue is the misleading description of the property. The description and photos suggests a woodland setting with nature in the backdrop and "spic and span" facilities (exact words used on their website). In fact what you get are pods crammed next to each other with a few trees around them, just across from the utilitarian setting of a large carpark and the indoor activity buildings. The 'lakeside' pods are positioned between a road and an artificial reservoir with no privacy. The 'woodland' paths were muddy. The amenity block (shared shower and toilet) were dirty and in a state of disrepair. No cleaning took place during the August Bank Hol weekend, the shower curtains were covered in mould, sink taps were either broken or just dribbled and there was no drying room. The pods lacked sufficient hooks or shelves or anything for storage. No lighting for reading. Ventilation inadequate. Only about half the pods had anywhere to sit. There were some communal park benches scattered around but when raining, there was nowhere to sit, other than on the bed. An average tent in a decent campsite would be better. The cafe is only open during the day and offers just drinks, sandwiches and cakes. It is intended for the activity centre users, not residents. The bar which serves through to the evening has a menu of 4 pizzas and that is all. The only other option on site is the Hilton Hotel restaurant but if camping in a pod, the prices in the hotel restaurant are disproportionate. You are not allowed to cook yourself. I do not normally stay in pods and Booking.com do not normally offer campsite accommodation. I assumed these would be a notch above to have featured on Booking.com, but alas not! The activity centre has some cool stuff to do but there is no advantage in staying on site. I suggest booking a B&B/hotel in the vicinity instead or if you like to camp, seek out a good proper campsite.

  : We liked the pod and outside seating. We liked the list of walks in the area. We liked the shower/ toilet facilities.
  : We were advised no cooking equipment allowed and although we adhered to this rule( which was quite frankly a pain) others were not and there was no staff presence to enforce this rule. There did not seem to be any staff presence at all and didn't see anyone for our entire 5 days stay. I would recommend the addition of a cooking area so visitors can at least make a cup of tea! The local facilities/ shops were not always open ( and generally only sold food that needed cooking, which we couldn't do).We were also told the onsite facilities( cafe) were only available for a very limited breakfast of cereal or we could go to the hilton Hotel ( which didn't seem to actually do a lot either) made staying on site difficult so had to go out every day just to find food. The huts were really quite close together, we certainly got to know our neighbours.

  : Pod was what expected staff were as helpfull as they could be in the situation they were in. Toilet and shower facilities were clean.
  : Games room kicked put at 7 as no staff no bar open or food as no staff. Games room area was stinking as no one to go around and clean up after those who didn't clean up after themselves.No shop/chippy open nearby and if were not allowed to cook in pods. Everything was getting cancelled or not running. never waste my money to go bk.

  : Lack of staff, wasn't told some activities weren't in. Lack of food and beverage availability. Wasn't woth the 5 hour drive and money spent. When complained were told we could eat at the hilton as no staff. I didn't expect to eat at the hilton 3 times a day on a glamping holiday. Shop near hand had very little in so had to travel to conwy where we had to eat as nothing in pods if wanted to buy own food to cook.

  : Location was fantastic, it was a new wonderful experience while staying at a unique accommodation.
  : It would be best to write a notification in front of the reception to get the key from the Hilton Inn Hotels reception after the working hour as we were searching for the key everywhere and also it was not mentioned about the Hilton Inn Hotel in the email.
