: Nothing. I did not get to check in because the appartment was not ready at 18:00, but they charged me as soon as I walked away.
: The reception is at a 5 minutes drive distance from the property. I got there after 6 PM for check in, but I was informed that the appartment is still not ready, even though check in should be available after 12. I was ok with that. The appartment is verry close to the hospital where my daughter is hospitalized, and I was planning to visit her first anyway. I only needed a bed for the night, so I had no problems with the fact that the appartment was not ready yet. I just wanted to get the key, and avoid having to go back to that reception which is at a driving distance from the property, through the Cluj traffic. While waiting for the key, the host started to question me: - How many people will be staying. - Just oneThan she got suspicious:- We have video survailance in the building, so we will see if there are going to be more people. So how many people will be staying? - Just one , I replied. The host continued making innuendos about the surveilance system, in a threatning way, almost calling me a liar. She told me a story about 2 girls that booked her appartment, and brought in men, and did some partying. I was insulted by her innuendos, and I wanted to cut the conversation short: - Can I have the key and be on my way? - Not yet, she replied. The appartment is not ready yet. So.. I decided to walk away. I told her I am not interested anymore, and I left. As soon as I got in my car, I got a notiffication that my card was charged. She charged me, allthough it was clear I had no intention to return, and the appartment was not ready yet. She was unable to provide the service that she charged me for. That is a scam!
