  : It was clean. There were great views. The windows opened and allowed a great refreshing mountain breeze to come into the home and cool it off. The location was close to Alamogordo and White Sands (20 minutes) and it was a great value.
  : The lack of communication with host. I think I emailed three or four times and didn't hear back for days. The final time, the last day of our stay, with a question I had before our stay.No salt. No oil in the kitchen. Oil not so important. Salt yes. I hadn't thought to bring those. Just food to cook. I had to borrow from a neighbor. We got in too late to go to any store.My husband needed migraine meds and a store was NOT "close by" as the description said, to get the Excedrine.The fireplace... Although firewood was provided there was no kindling and no long matches. The bbq wand thingy was empty/not working. I found a small set of matches. Having a fire laid, ready to start would have been nice.
