  : Unfortunately, the only good thing about the hotel was the pub/restaurant. The staff in the restaurant were quite pleasant and professional, unlike the hotel manager I encountered a bit after my arrival.
  : Although check-in was listed as 3 PM or later, I sat shivering on the steps of the hotel in front of the locked door from 3:30 PM until 3:15 PM. I knocked loudly and even called the number of the hotel. No answer. I finally walked around to the back of the property and enter through the kitchen. The cook helped me get checked in.In my room, there was no place to put my luggage, so I had to have my things strewn on the floor as a sort of threw them for a change of clothes. After disrobing to take a shower and turn the water on, I went to retrieve the towel from my bed, only to find out it was a bathmat only. I had to get re-dressed and go downstairs. At this time I met the manager, who offered no apology for my delayed check-in or for the absence of a towel in my room, just pointed me to a basket of towels in adjacent room NO apology (this was after he finally got off of a personal cell phone call, which he did not end to try to help me.) He dismissively told me that they had been open for nine weeks only and expected that to be a good answer. I returned to my room to take a shower in the bathroom, which had a mirror so old that the surface was marred, and practically OPEC. The hot and cold handles for the water on the lavatory were reversed. well, I had reservations about eating there, there were no other places nearby, so I went into the restaurant to eat my dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by the service there.
