: Centrally located opposite the best place to eat and shopping and close to beaches. Popi put delicious Dacos and grapes in our fridge and offered the best cake ever! Really pretty place to stay!

: we stayed in appartement Athenian. this apartment is if well maintained a nice apartment. ha sufficint room for two people. the badroom is outdated but could be functional. there are two small balconies (1,5 m2 each) faced towards a busy road so not much privacy.
: the badroom, hot water was only available at the end of the afternoon. badroom was not clean, fungus on some parts of the shower area. the apartment needs maintenance, front door didnt close by it self, only using the key.

: Mrs Popi and her family are very welcoming.Throughout our 12-nights stay they greeted us with fantastic homemade dakos and delicious cakes.Sadly, their good hospitality and excellent location of the property( very convenient to Stravos beach and Chania city centre) are the only positive comments to share.. :(
: We booked apartment with balcony SEA VIEWbut be aware there is no sea at sight well, there is in the very distance. They should change it on Booking as its misleading and it would help to avoid misunderstandings.We tried to point it out when checking in but there is no communication. Unfortunately they cannot speak English ( no English at all, they communicate through google translator app )Cleaning is very poor ( or maybe Italian standards are too high?)Kitchen is equipped just with basic essentials for eggs and a small breakfast ( we stayed 13 nights and we were not able to properly cook) All flats are by a very busy road, at all times day and night, so not the best if you are looking for a city escape

: Parking was easy. Lovely host. Great views. Good size swimming pool. Comfy beds and all the rooms a good size.
: What we were really surprised with was the fact the energy completely shut off when you weren't in the room. Meaning the food we'd left in the fridge was all warm by the time we got back. I realise we all have to be conservative with our energy use but when it's 38 degrees outside, it would have been nice to leave an air conditioner on or fan to keep the place cool. Unfortunately, when we returned to the room after dinner, our drinks were warm and the apartment took about an hour to drop to a comfortable temperature.
