: Great kitchen and living area. Nice enclosed garden. 2 minutes walk to a great pub with graden. Dog friendly. Butcher and vegetable shop with a few groceries just a short walk away. Good walking footpaths.

: Beautiful house and setting, very well equipped and spacious. Perfect location to explore the Cotswolds, farm shop/cafe and excellent local pub within few minutes' walk.
: Mattresses were not on par quality wise with rest of the furniture.

: Before arrival I got instructions to check into the wrong place - which wasn't a good start! We arrived and the house had not been cleaned at all - dirty kitchen, bedding, towels. House keeping had messed up and hadn't been in since the last people left. They did offer to pay for a round of drinks at the pub whilst we waited for them to clean, but waiting for 2 hours in a pub to check in was really disappointing given the amount we had paid for the property and how little time we had. We were cooking a big meal for family, so this put extra pressure on timings. The kitchen is quite poorly stocked, there are no serving spoons or large serving plates and no basic supplies. The beds are really uncomfortable and soft and there was no spare toilet roll left for us so we had to go out and purchase more. It would have been good to have the option This was really disappointing as we have stayed at other bolthole houses numerous times and never had any issues.
