  : Lack of shaver socket in bathroom. Steep fire escape stairs to room. Very poor for those with limited mobility. Very limited car parking. Not aware of the terrace for guests. Heated towel radiator not working.Road traffic noise and distance noise from bars and karaoke

  : This is an excellent location and an informal group of 4 rooms off a common corridor where breakfast is available. The room was smart with a very comfortable bed.
  : The breakfast ought to be promoted as continental (rather than 'very good') but was plentiful and is self service outside the room. This is convenient but slightly odd given fine dining in the restaurant below, just not for breakfast.

  : Parking limited. No space when we arrived. Manager moved his car, so we could have his bay. It's something they do often for guests lodging. We ate at the Galleon Steakhouse, meal was tremendous and staff very welcoming and helpful.
  : Generally happy with a continental breakfast, but choice extremely limited. No natural yoghurt for cereal (I don't like milk) and as have allergy to strawberry & orange, the preservative choice was strawberry jam and marmalade. They did have honey though, so this was good. And allergy wasn't previous notified to The Spire, (so not their failing), I just presumed there'd be other flavoured jams avail

  : Great location, clean rooms, lovely large bed and slept well.
  : Shared facilities outside room for teas, coffees and continental breakfast - which you have to take into your room to eat. Downstairs restaurant should have an offer (say 10% off) when booking a room as we ate elsewhere..... expensive and check-in was almost in the dark before opening time!

  : Our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet for the location on a busy junction.
  : This did not affect us but it should be made clear at the outset that the accommodation is not suitable for people with mobility issues, particularly access (via a steep steel external open staircase).
