: Erietta Suites had a fabulous view from it's living room windows over the harbor. It was very spacious, having a living room area, small kitchenette and small dining area, plus a second bedroom above and open to the living area. Great for families, 2 couples, etc. It was old world charm, for sure, but clean and somewhat updated.
: Had I known that it would take 42 winding steps to get from entry door to our room, and that there we would take almost an hour just to find the place (because they have no signs saying Erietta Suites), I would have booked elsewhere. Our mapping kept telling us we had 'arrived', and no signage revealed it. Asked multiple locals. Finally, the person in charge of the Suites called us and we had a meet up. He was gracious enough to come to our car (parking is outside the Old City) and help with our 2 suitcases. The other complaint was the mini-split unit in our bedroom emitted a high pitched sound that I heard, but my semi deaf husband did not. I ended up sleeping on the living room sofa. All in all, I wanted a room with a view, and that certainly delivered. but the hassle of finding this place along with the stairs and air conditioner whine, was memorable in not the best way. Chania, however, is a most charming city and the streets are just amazing to simply get lost in.

: Host is very helpful as is the cleaning lady. Location is very good, direct on the old harbour with great views. Would be ideal for a family of four but less so for a romantic trip for a couple.
: Be aware that there are over 40 steps to reach the apartment from street level. Furniture was a little lived in. Sofa beds instead of sofa in the lounges. Bathroom is very small (just enough room for a shower, toilet and sink)
