  : The location was great - right near nea hora beach and an easy walk to the old town in one direction and mor beaches in the other direction. Comfortable and cozy room with facilities for cooking if required. Lovely friendly host who was available to give advice if required.

  : We rented out the apartment in Chania for 4 nights. Our idea was to be close (within walking distance) to the old city but not in the city center so we could easily park and take the car every day for our daily trips around the island. The location of the apartment was exactly that. The parking spot was always available on the streets around. The beach is one street away full of local restaurants that have better prices than the old city town. Maria, the landlord, was super kind and nice and wanted to help with everything. She recommended a very nice bakery close by in which we were taking coffee and bread/croissants every morning, and also some restaurants to go to very nice for the price and quality, right on the beach. She met us on our arrival and on the day we were leaving, we paid and left the keys on the door.
  : The room was quite big with a balcony, however, the gas cooker was a bit slow and a tiny place for cooking. Tools were provided so that was good. The apartment is in the city, so noises around can be heard, but we could sleep through the whole night without any problem.

  : Lovely host Maria was so kind. Everything you need you will find in the apartment. Clean and welcoming apartment with a nice and private terrace.

  : Maria is the most amazing host and will make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive at the property (in fact before you arrive... she helped me arrange accommodation for earlier in our trip!). The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and had everything you need for your stay. Our room was on the ground floor and had a private terrace which was perfect for enjoying a morning coffee and light breakfast (Maria left us some gorgeous plum jam which we had with yogurt - yummy) before heading out and enjoying Chania for the day then returning for an evening pre/post dinner cocktail. The location is superb. You'll see on google maps (other maps are available) how close it is, but it honestly feels even closer when you get there. There's an excellent baker's close by on the main road (Selinou) - try to get there early as I found out that they can sell out fast. On that road within a couple of minutes walk you also have a couple of mini-markets, pharmacy, car hire. It's great! There's a few nice places to eat on the beach and they all tend to have sun beds with an umbrella for hire too. Price ranged from 8-12 for 2 people for the day. If you fancy a snack they'll bring it right to your sunbed but I always find it awkward eating like that and prefer to sit at the cafe/restaurant. Don't feel obliged to eat in the same place you hire your beds from - we didn't get any discount on bed/food/drink. In summary; we stayed at Alexandros Studios for a week in late Aug/early Sept 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The next time we visit Chania we intend to stay with Maria again.
  : There was nothing negative about our stay - it was superb! However, If I'm forced to identify an area for improvement then perhaps some of the kitchen equipment is a little dated... but it's all clean and it all works so even that's not a problem :)

  : The place is near the Nea Chora Beach and all the restaurants, but is not noisy, to feel relaxed.The owner is kind and helpful all the time, she asked daily if we want to clean, but it wasn't necessary so often.
  : Some pieces of furniture and decoration could be renewed.
