Accessible only by cable car during winter this hotel is in Planachaux in the Portes du Soleil ski resort at 1800 metres above sea level. There is a sauna a restaurant and a terrace overlooking Les Dents du Midi. In winter only the Grand Paradis – Planachaux ski lifts offer access to Hôtel Plein Ciel Hotel. Once at Planachaux you can ski down to the hotel in 5 minutes.
Rooms are simple and all have free Wi-Fi. All have private bathroom facilities and views of the Alps. The restaurant at Hotel Plein Ciel serves traditional regional food including raclette dishes. Breakfast is buffet style.
There is also a bar with billiards and 2 lounge rooms with a fireplace and library as well as a Home Cinéma salon in the evenings.
