  : Easy access to major chateaux in the area, quiet and expansive. The owner's tour of the property is a "must"; his knowledge of the historical and geographical aspects gave us a good insight of the region. The couple who owns the place greeted us at the breakfast table and offered advice and help for our visit, which is not the kind of hospitality one would receive from a "hotel". Our lodging for three is in a separate building, so we missed seeing those lovely rooms in the main chateau building as shown on their site. The pool looks lovely but unfortunately we didn't have the time to spend some time there. The Cosson river that runs in the property is a tempting place to fish too.
  : It might be a good idea to equip the shower with a corner shower rack and a handrail. This may only apply to our room, which was the former chapel.
