Overlooking the mountains of Serra do Marão this 17th-century manor house is surrounded by landscaped gardens. Guests can swim in the outdoor pool or read a book in the lounge. The spacious rooms at Casa de Canedo come with an individual elegant décor. All have a fireplace and a private bathroom with a bathtub or shower.

Some include a 4-poster bed. A buffet-style breakfast is served daily in the dining room which features a large wooden table and an old-fashioned oven. After breakfast guests can play a game of billiards in the games room. The village of Mondim de Basto is a 15-minute drive away.
