  : Booking.com confirmed a booking based on 3 people. The hotel said they don't honor such bookings for 3 and charged us $80 per night extra for a triple room. Then, the room we received, room 331 was not a triple. When I informed them, they send someone to remove the chair and lamp for reading in order to put in a portable bed that barely fit. I send pictures to Booking.com and of course nothing has been done.

  : The property couldnt be more central. Its right in the heat of la rambla. The doormen couldnt have been truer gents. They were brilliant, and very kind. I wish them all the best in their futures and hope they move on to a better company to work for.
  : The room we were given as a young family with a 2 month old child was not fit for purpose. Cramped, extremely cold with the worst draft which was dangerous for our newborn. The bath was full of hairs when we arrived, and so we had to clean the room down ourselves after a 8.5h drive from Granada. As bon voy platinum elite members, we were appalled at our treatment. We were lied to with regard to availability of a family suite (which was available on booking the night we could have been moved), and the supervisors at reception would be fired and homeless if they were my employees. Their mannerism, their lack of respect and attitude is a real cause for concern. I will not stay in a Le Meridien ever again, which is a shame, as our upcoming trip to Dubai was planned there. We have decided to change hotels after this experience. The staff behind reception and the manager Mai were terrible. They did nothing to improve our situation. Their attempts at making excuses were feeble, and Mai admitted to our floor being abnormally cold. As my wife and I are fluent in Spanish, we knew exactly what staff were saying when we were complaining, and the Italian supervisor, Federica, your attitude when addressing our complaint was appalling, how dare you treat any customer the way you did to us.

  : Restaurant/Breakfast was exceptional. Food was great with lots of choices, and the service was first rate. The folks at the front desk were very informative and polite we are Americans but the dialog between us and them was never a problem. The porters and security staff were outstanding helped us on several occasions regarding transport costs, soliciting rides, and general information regarding the local area. The appearance of Le Meridan was exceptional, clean and enticing, able to relax without concern.
  : Light switches in our room 419 was definitely a challenge to figure out.
