  : Easy to find the hotel, at the entrance of the city. Very welcoming check in, people at the front desk were very nice.
  : Bed (double bed) was hard as a rock. Room on the first floor (same floor as the terrace) with a big window = no intimicy if we do not close the curtains). No dedicated facilities to let the beach towels dry so there is personal items from other clients all over the terrace. Bathroom is quite old

  : The location is excellent and parking was available at the property. Luca met us at reception and facilitated everything from then on - including directions to the Sunset Bar for Aperol Spritz and a great view. Nice seaside town!

  : Good value for money hotel in a really good location. Nice terraced area to kick back. Staff are excellent and super friendly.

  : Very warm welcome, nice big terrace facing the sea to sit out on. The bedroom was clean and a reasonable size. There's plenty of places to eat nearby.
  : Nothing really. The hotel is what it is....... an aged building that's seen better days, but quite quaint in a nostalgic way!

  : The 2 single mattresses were comfortable (pity they didn't match in height...not exactly what you would call a matrimoniale/double)!
  : We were allocated a room, which although through the alcove the sea and castle were visible, we were on the main thoroughfare to the other rooms in this section of the hotel, next the door which would open and close noisily (resulting in us being woken at 11pm).Earlier when I had voiced my concerns with regard the constant coming and going of guests, I had been advised to sleep with windows/shutters shut to help the noise! Alas the rooms are poorly sound-insulated so every conversation of those passing by can be heard!So much for falling asleep with noise of waves and catching a glimpse of the castle first thing in the morning.What is more, outside the room there is a table and chair where guests can sit and smoke, as non smokers this is a total non go.While we paid a little extra (not a lot, ok but we paid it all the same) for a sea view, we were unable to enjoy the view. With guests passing by right outside the window (see photo) and the above noise issues, the shutters had to be kept shut if any privacy was to be had!I had read comments about the hotel being in need of renovation, and as such thought I knew what to expect. However, the WC was leaking water leaving a puddle on the floor, the mattresses while comfortable didn't match son n effect the bed wasn't usable as a double.After a disturbed night we at least looked forward to our continental breakfast. Alas, here too we were very disappointed. We had imagined scrambled eggs perhaps, instead overcooked and undercooled hard boiled eggs, salami and cheese (no variation) No fresh bread. I understand that morning was a public holiday, but I am certain, fresh bread was available. Otherwise white toasting bread was on offer together with mediocre cakes and tasteless croissants. The fresh fruit was really the only thing that was appealing. Coffee, tea was from a self-service machine and was quite unpalatable.

  : Perfect location to explore Castelsardo. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean.
  : The property could use some renovations. Especially the bathroom could use an update.
