  : The room was very large and everything was of excellent quality. The facilities, such as the pool and spa, were very good. Very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with roomy stand-in shower. The in-room jacuzzi bath was also excellent. The balcony had a beautiful view towards Alcala. Very quiet location and no noise from surrounding buildings or rooms.
  : Very importantly, this was a SMOKING room and it smelt strongly of stale smoke, despite the fact that the room had been cleaned thoroughly prior to our arrival. We asked to be moved to a different room but there were no similar rooms available. We asked for - and were given - a scented candle that came from their spa. This helped a lot! However, the Bookings.com site did not state that it may be a smoking room and we didn't think to ask! It's against the law to smoke in British hotels and we thought the same law applied in Spain. Apparently, not. They have the ability to designate up to 30% of their rooms as smoking. We'd hadn't experienced this at other hotels in Spain. The hotel did not argue that the room was for smokers. In fact, it even had an ashtray on the table when we arrived. Our only other complaint would be that the bar and restaurant were lacking in atmosphere, although they were clean and well presented.

  : we chose the property because of both the location & on site facilities.ALL of the facilities spapoolrestaurant barwere closed.We couldnt get breakfast without walking into town. We would NOT have chosen this hotel if this was made clear

  : The jacuzzi kept turning on and off by itself the hairdryer didnt work and very noisy neighbours

  : The suite was clean, spacious and comfortable. The balcony was spacious and comfortable. Lola at reception was wecoming and helpful. The spa bath (when we worked out how to fill it without spraying the entire room with the shower attachment) was total bliss.
  : I appreciate that we stayed "out of season " but the restaurant was closed as were most others in the area.It would have been nice to have some bubble bath to put in the spa bath.A bit overpriced for lack of restaurant etc

  : Beatuful surroundings, nature heaven, friendly staff, all clean and tidy. Very beautifull and peacefull. We were staying outside season.
  : We stayed in house Picual and all nght long there was some strange loud noise in the room nearby sleeping room. It seemed like a water boiler or some electrical device was creating it. Non stop. Also neighbours were loud around 2-3 a.m. seems they were sitting outside and talking loudly.
