  : The lodge was lovely, very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location is lovely, quiet and peaceful and not too far from The Lakes. The facilities on site were restricted due to covid but there was a limited food takeaway service at the bar which we used one of the nights. The hot tub was lovely other than the issue with the cover. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back.
  : The cover of the hot tub was extremely heavy, we struggled so much we didn't bother the second day which was disappointing as it was one of the reasons for booking. Think it may possibly have been waterlogged as never had this issue before. There were no mirrors in the rooms other than tiny bathroom cabinets.

  : The modern decor and good base for Lake District and North Pennines
  : The hot tub was cold for the whole of the first day. The response from the host was it shouldn't be like that unless you pressed something, in which we hadnt. Asked if someone could take a look, we was told we would be charges to have someone out. Managed to use hot tub briefly on the 2nd day. On the 3rd day the hot tub didn't work. Not worth money paid as we couldn't use it for two days.

  : great lodge for a family, well equipped and spacious. also it had a bath - much easier for small kids. the couches were very tired and the carpet was dirty (lots of dog hair). the rest was very clean - would book again.
