  : It is an affordable, in comparison with other properties in Cambridge, guest house. It is in a walking distance from the centre, with a very hospitable host. We had a very nice large family room with great view to the garden, the linen was changed and the room was cleaned every day. The room was very thoughtfully provided with mini-fridge, plates and cutlery. The wi-fi was excellent. There were lots of helpful brochures about places to visit in Cambridge. Excellent car parking facility.
  : The en-suite shower room was the only disappointment: it is too small, no shelf inside the shower cubicle to put a soap dish or a shampoo. When you get off the toilet, your shoulders hit the hand-washing basin, the light switch cord inside is rather unhygienic. However, the size of this shower room was a design oversight: when it was created, more space should have been allocated to the shower room. We could have used a shared bathroom in the corridor, but we did not bother. Overall the property can benefit from a refurbishment and updating.
