  : The property is in a great location, just right around the corner from the downtown area. It is also walkable to the downtown area too so if you want to do a wine tasting within the town, you could walk there rather than drive. The Bergson also provides free tickets to a shuttle that will even take you downtown if you would rather not walk or to some of the wineries in Calistoga. It is quaint, cute and quiet. The staff was very friendly and the check-in and check-out process was quick and smooth. The beds were super comfy and soft and up to my personal standards. (I myself like softer beds rather than firmer beds.) Overall, great stay and would return again when and if we come back to Calistoga! :)
  : The only that was a little disappointing was that the breakfast that the Bergson provided in the morning was a little small. Basically just coffee, pastries and yogurt. I wish they had a little more options because most of the time we had to go into town for breakfast because it just was not enough food.

  : First, the entry concrete patio leading to the reception desk was welcoming, soothing and beautiful with its gentle water fountain and small round tables with chairs. The reception desk and room were beautiful -- and of course we appreciated the yummy homemade cookie they had bagged up for each guest. BREAKFAST which they call their "Small Offering" was a cold breakfast, but very quality muffins, yogurt parfait, and homemade coffee cake.
  : I didn't realize the room was so small, but its diagonal design still fit the large wall TV, 2 comfortable, classy easy chairs and queen bed, along with good sized bathroom area.

  : Close to Calistoga. Clean. Responsive staff.
  : Highway noise. Dated furniture and bed coverings. With little effort and expense room could have felt more welcoming and warm. Fireplace had dated fake fire logs that really detracted from the experience - especially when anticipated - cheezy!!

  : The location was fine. The property was quaint and cute. The coffee cake was to die for!!
  : A hotel room serves 3 purposes. 1) To recuperate from the day just had, and to prepare for the events to come. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Storage was adequate. The layout was a bit odd. 2) To sleep. The bed was very comfy. 3) Toiletries and self care. Here the room failed miserably. To begin with, there was no DOOR on the bathroom. Yes there was a saloon door that didn't go to the floor or ceiling and didn't stay closed. There was also a curtain. But the privacy element was non-existent unless you turned on the TV before you went in. The bath fan did not work. Meaning when you left the bathroom it followed you out. The water pressure in the shower was way too low. And even if it had been adequate, the temp of the water varied wildly, meaning you could have a face full of soap and suddenly be attacked by either freezing cold or scalding hot water. There was no place to hang the towels by the tub/ shower. A real disappointment.

  : The whole facility was gorgeous. The surrounding town of calistoga was so close and quaint
  : The free shuttle to the vineyards said they would arrive to pick us up at 3:30p, never showed up and then texted me an hour later saying they were waiting at the pickup and couldn't find us... We were already in the middle of our wine tasting. Probably just a mix up but thankfully we had our own car otherwise it would've been an issue.
