: Exceptionally helpful attitude from Maria, she provided local tips and driving shortcuts, gave great advises. It is a great feelof rural area surrounded by forests and wineyards. If this is what you want you will not be dissapointed! I recommend.

: Thank you to Maria for her hospitality and a wondeful home cooked dinner prepared for us that evening. Picked up and dropped of at Caldas de Reis not a problem. great breakfast in the morning to get us going on our Camino.

: Hosts were lovely and picked me up and dropped me off in town (I was on The Camino). Room was very nice, clean, rustic. Nice to stay a bit out of the way in the country.
: I ate with the hosts for lunch and was served dinner in the dining room. There are no restaurants close by so you dont have a choice. I wish I had asked the price prior to eating - because I dont eat very much and found the meal cost quite high.

: The place itself is a beautiful rural stone house. It is all very well kept and clean. The hosts are the most hospitable I have encountered. When we asked if we could have some hot water to make ourselves some instant coffee, Maria made s a pot of delicious coffee with warm milk and gave us some cakes to eat. Breakfast was remarkable with farm fresh eggs, fruit from the property, more coffee con leche. She also offered to drive us back to town so we could continue our walk along the Camino route. And she refused to accept any money for it. She went above and beyond.
: The only negative would be the neighbours dog that barked at night. (Even the roosters crowing at 5am was part of the farm stay experience.)
