  : The villas, were adequate, beds were large and comfortable. The air conditioning worked. The location of the villas was perfect for us, everything was pretty much in walking distance. The swimming pool was clean but dated and grounds were quiet. The place needs a refurb, mini golf and table tennis tables were un-useable, but this is the economy we all live in. Personally and for our family, this place ticked all the boxes. If your looking for hi-end opulence then book a 5-star hotel. If your looking for a beautiful, peaceful, kid safe, family villas, basic but adequate to live in while you enjoy the 4 beaches, bars, restaurants and the rest of Cala en blanes district on a family budget then look no further.
  : I couldnt fault it for what we paid. Like I said, repairs and maintenance required. But like I said the beds are large and comfortable. Air con works, kitchens are basic and could do with renewing. But for us as a family the positives far out way the negatives.

  : Good location and sizeable apartment.
  : I paid extra for a deluxe apartment with air conditioning but the unit upstairs wasnt working. On arrival on Friday I reported this by email and got a response that maintenance would come Saturday. We left on Monday and the problem wasnt fixed. I have asked for a refund but havent heard anything!

  : The villa itself is very nice.
  : One of the staff claimed that the tourist tax we were meant to pay, $22, was wrong and that it should be $66 as we had to pay it for all of the children as well. I foolishly accepted this and paid it. It was only later that I discovered the scam (only children over 16 have to pay it and our kids were all under 16). Managed to get it back but I'd be vary wary about staying here with staff like that.

  : If you are looking for somewhere that is clean, comfortable and value for money - Yucas Homes is it. Our villa came equipped with a fully fitted kitchen so we could cook our own meals and there were ample bathrooms and rooms. The villas are right across the road from a supermercado to pick up water, breakfast foods and any other essentials, and also conveniently located a walking distance away from some of the best calas on the island. Not to mention some of the best restaurants - we had an amazing sunset meal at Coral, an incredible cliff-top restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean, which was only a 4 minute walk down the road. Accessible via the back of Yucas is also a path that leads down to a quiet cala (Platja de Cales Piques) where you can lay your beach towel and enjoy the sun and sea - there's also a small beach shack bar where we had the most delicious mango mojitos. Yucas is a simple, sweet place to stay on a budget - it's no nonsense, no fuss and gives you an incredible base to explore the northern part of the island!
