  : Reasonable hotel located south of the railway station. Staff were pleasant and helpful, room was very clean, excellent shower (if not a little slippery for someone of advancing years), plus the front desk was manned 24/7. Located on a cobbled street, just off the main, road so external noise was minimal. Two bottles of mineral water supplied daily, with rooms cleaned and towels changed regularly.
  : My room was adjacent to the lift which, when in use, was quite noisy, especially at night, and early in the mornings as well. I did mention this to the lady on reception and she offered to let me change rooms, but mine was a premium double room which meant it had a double bed and the only alternative was a room with a single bed, so I declined. Aside from the lift, my room was located in a noisy area, being on the ground floor and adjacent to the main thoroughfare, particularly again in the mornings, when masses of people would agglomerate, before going out for the day and believe me, they were not quiet. My only other grouse, and this is hardly the hotel's fault, is that of the location. Most of the places to see and visit in Cordoba are in the old town towards the river in the south and it's quite a trek to get there and back by foot from our hotel. I didn't explore public transport options and there are loads of taxis around, as I'm not that immobile, but after 4 days walking the route, I certainly knew all about it. Similarly, and by sheer coincidence, unbeknown to us, during the length of our stay, the Corboda Feria 2024 was on, which is again towards the south. So many of the eateries and bars in our area were either closed or shut early whereas conversely, the south was rammed with tourists, many of which were in tour groups blocking all the narrow passageways. To be honest, I normally always book accommodation in the "old town" especially if I'm traveling to somewhere new but it proved impossible on this trip, which is, I suspect, once again due to the fair. However, whilst there was nothing intrinsically wrong with La Boutique, if I was coming back, I would definitely find a place further south as more things to do plus more options for food and drink in the evenings.
