Disappointing

  : Not much, to be honest. The hosts are decent, nice people and I am sure they really try. While this is a nice introduction to a pleasant stay, it cannot in itself make for one. It was all downhill from here.
  : Pretty much everything. This is a house built for guests, using the cheapest posibile materials and finishings. The rooms are tiny, barely more than the surface of the bed. The beds are uncomfortable. There is (virtually) no air conditioning (there is a small unit on the staircase for the whole house, ridiculously under-powered). The house is far away from everything. This could have been an advantage if the road to it were not a disaster and the courtyard would not have been mostly covered in concrete. The list goes on and on.
