  : Great location. Had everything I needed included a washing machine. Couldn't get hold of the reception staff as the reception area was locked every time I went.
  : No having access to the staff when I needed to order a taxi.

  : For my fellow Americans, this is a PENSION - sort of a hybrid between a youth hostel and an AirBNB. You get a private bedroom but share all other facilities such as bathrooms and a kitchenette. This is NOT a hotel in the traditional American sense. Reception is only staffed during the day and the pension is only accessible by keyfob after checking in. Check in is only during the day. If you want daily housekeeping, amenities and round-the-clock staffing, you want a hotel, not a pension. All of that said, the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed for 10 nights, as I was trying to get a "locals" feel for living in Cadiz. The inherent limitations of a pension might be more than the casual tourist wants to take on.
  : Like all historic buildings in Cadiz, this one amplifies sound. You'll hear every conversation, door shutting and toilet flush - it's inherent in the architecture. And if your neighbors are feeling rowdy, you'll know it. Also, the door at the top of the stairs is locked at night and can be impossible to open, even after unlocking. Use the elevator at night instead. Once you get the hang of how everything works, you'll be okay, but it takes a few days, even for a seasoned traveller.

  : Clean, good location, excellent fan kept temp adequate, refrigerator in common area with bins for rooms for food. Price was phenomenal.
  : Admittedly I like a super firm mattress so may be out of the norm but mattress was too squishy for me\my back...room was a bit musty but fan if ran all the time kept it ok.
