  : Very personable and welcoming staff. Genuinely concerned for my comfort and pleasure. Food and service were excellent. Room was large and clean.
  : Could use wash clothes and more basic items like lotion. Lighting is rather dim and dark.

  : Room was a bit tired It wasnt in the main building it was quite noisy due to a generator ( ? ) being in one of the parking bays ! Also It was overpriced

  : The very warm welcome from the friendly and helpful staff.The location couldn't be better - the charming St John's Street packed full of independent shops is right outside the door (and Vinyl Hunters one of our go to places was immediately across the street).The pub itself was cosy and catered for a wide range of people from families, couples, friends etc., with good beer and an interesting menu.On site parking is always a bonus.The shower was super.
  : There weren't any big negatives.It's a pub and obviously on a Saturday night there is going to be noise, particularly as the outside rooms are adjacenttotheoutsideseating. However it went completely quiet at 11. If the weather had been better we may well have been sitting drinking anyway.The walls were a little thin so we could hear conversations in the next room, but our neighbours weren't loud.

  : The room was comfortable and warm; breakfast options were good and everything was tasty - staff adapted what was on offer for vegetarian requirements. Location was perfect for walking into and exploring the town. Staff were friendly, chatty and welcoming.
  : The shower spurted water quite widely until you got the hang of it, so the floor got pretty wet.

  : Brilliant location with parking. Comfy bed. Despite being in pub car park, we weren't disturbed by external noise at night.
  : Decor felt tired, no sockets near the bed, sound proofing poor (could hear next room clearly, inc. snoring). Continental breakfast was lacklustre with no choice of pastries, no muesli, yogurt wasn't available though listed on the menu.

  : Meal very poor with few options from the menu available. Bed uncomfortable, room decor shabby and in need of redecoration.
