: The location was stunning! Everyone in the family working as property keepers were very nice and friendly.It was nice to be able to have some farm animals in the premises although they should have some designated areas separate from the childrens playground.The pool area was nice too.There were a number of activities on offer like horse riding, quad trails etc.
: The property was ok but offer the barest minimum of comfort, no storage and most commodities were old and not very well maintained. There was no proper living area (only a few brick benches with thin cushions) and an old broken tube tv as an ornament in a corner. The ornaments used as headboards of the beds, were hazardous, specially when children are to sleep on the beds.The bed linen provided at an extra cost, was insufficient and really old and worn out. The garden premises were nice but there were a number of health and safety issues:* there were goats (including a huge male billy goat), hens, sheep and ponies roaming around the kids playground. While its nice to see, some animals were intimidating, preventing some kids from wanting to enjoy the playground. Moreover, the would fill the play space with their faeces. The sandpit was full of animal excrement.* the barbecue area was opened to the kids access it was dirty and had fire lighter cubes on the reach of children (toxic/flammable).* some picnic tables were not fixed after breaking and has nails sticking out. * the swings were not tightly attached to the frame. One of my sons has an accident cause one side of the swing detached while using it.* the cleaning machine at the swimming pool remained in the pool even when the pool was opened to the public. (It was connected to an electric plug for it to work). Everyone working at the premises were lovely and they were doing their best but I believe they were short staffed in order to maintain such a big place.
