  : The location was average, it was a good 20 minute walk from the centre, the downstairs was clea and airy.
  : On exiting the lift on level 2B we were presented with quite a bad smell, we put this dow to a possible river smell as the windows on the landing were open. We entered our bedroom number 38 (I think) and was hit with a stronger smell; again we put this down to a smell from the river as the window was open. We closed the window to shut out the chiming clock and general noise. After about 3hrs I was awaken by a very very strong smell of open sewers, I tried to trace it by going into the bathroom where it seemed to becoming from, eventually I re-opened the window - left the extract fan on. the next morning we spoke to one of the owners who said very casually it must be the drain in the shower and he would look into it. We went on our way for the day and returned to a very smelly landing again, in the room some of the smell had gone but not all. The next morning the owner offered to change our room but as this was our last night we said it was not worth it. The breakfast was 100% done on a very small budget probably about 1-2 euros as virtually all of it was bread and coffee definitely not what I was expecting - defiantly could do better.

  : Nice breakfast and also the host was nice and very welcoming.
  : It was rather expensive as most places in Brugges even off-season. It was slightly off the center but gave us more opportunity to walk and enjoy the scenery.

  : The property was located conveniently to the bus stop. The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was amazing!!!! We had a couple of special requests and the staff surprised us by providing the needed oat milk and gluten free bread. We felt very special.
  : There were no negatives. We felt very safe. We even walked a few times to the square and found it a pleasant walk. You should be aware that there is no air conditioning. Normally, that would probably fine as the evenings are cool enough to offer redlined by opening the window.

  : Great view, comfortable bed, A/C, breakfast included, and the breakfast was top notch.
  : No Fridge, no ice machine, was not allowed to use the garden or dining room for a dinner we bought from the grocery store.

  : Centrally located hotel in a charming historic building close to the historic city center. Owners are very kind and welcoming, offering you a great breakfast with a variety of bread juices hams and cheeses. Room is fine, bed is good and we did not hear any road-noise despite having a room at the front/road side. Ample of parking options along the canal, also parking garages nearby
  : While it didnt bother us, there were a few stairs to climb to get to the room - the elevator would get you almost to the room as well, just a few stairs remaining

  : The breakfasts were delicious!! Our hosts were very pleasant and welcoming. Run by this amazing couple for 40 years.
  : The mosquitos which I realize cannot be controlled by the property.
