  : Access to the sea was perfect with nicely maintained sun-beds and umbrellas. The location was great. It was easy to get around the island by car. The staff very professional, helpful, friendly and accommodating.But the absolute highlight was the breakfast and dinner buffet! The food and drinks in general. We booked half board, and we were so glad we did. We still miss the flavors, the wine and the service. Our greatest compliments to the kitchen and staff. So much variety, something different every evening and always on point and fresh. The wine was great just everything. We had a really good time! Thank you so much !

  : The food at the cafe was good, although at an added cost. The staff is very attentive and try to be helpful. The best thing we did was leave the hotel (sorry but its true). After one day here where we were bored to tears, we went into Korcula town and rented a car. While the hotel doesn't have much to do and is far from the main town, the area where it is is actually lovely! Off the grid and great for exploring. There are some great wineries and beaches nearby which a car allowed us to explore. Also, there is an incredible restaurant in the town that we highly recommend (Konoba Mali Jakov) that is worth the walk from Aminess and skipping the buffet dinner. The owner is a bit stand-offish, but his food is incredible and he will warm up. He was lovely to us (but then again we basically just complimented his food, not hard to do!)
  : Look, I'm going to be honest here. I do not understand the good reviews of this place. Admittedly, my husband and I tend to prefer more local, boutique type hotels where we can explore, and so that likely did not help our thoughts on this hotel and I should have looked into this more. If you like hotels that are similar to a cruise-type vibe, and want to eat the type of all you can eat food you are used to at home (and by that I mean specifically US, Canada, AUS and the UK), then you will likely be more comfortable here than we were. If you are more into exploring a local area, eating the food that is local and getting to know the area and its people, this is not the place for you. The rooms are much smaller than their website or any photos imply, and the terraces are honestly not great. They are dingy, and most just overlook the pool area - we never sat out there once. Yes, you can see the sea, but mostly of a view of the town. The beds are not comfortable and the bathrooms are not great. As others have noted, the bathrooms are very dated. Don't be fooled by the photos of the waterfront lounge area, it doesn't really look like that. Most of the view is of the town, and the area that does have a view of the open sea has about 5-6 loungers and is more limited. And the food, as I said above, is basically just buffet style food that you can find at any cruise or major hotel. It's fine, it's just not local or exciting. It is included in the cost, but alcohol is not. And while the staff try to be attentive, they are extremely limited. We asked for an extension cord, they didn't have one. We asked for a wine bottle opener and they found us one but apparently there are only two that the staff have access to (outside of the restaurant) so you can't keep it during your stay or even one night. Also, ice for your ice bucket is extra cost unless you walk down to the cafe and get it from the restaurant staff. You can find better places nearby.

  : There is no real beach, you have to go down the metal stairs to get into the water.

  : The location is incredible for relaxing and appreciating peace. Kayaks and paddleboards available in a non touristy place very authentic and rate. The receptionist, bar lady and cleaner were the friendliest we encountered throughout our Croatian trip
  : Food was good value however I think a menu rather than buffer diner would just set this place into a 5 star easily
