  : Very much liked the location..Rooms were Cozy and pretty much just the right size not too super large Bathroom couldve used more lighting. Instruction shouldve been given for how to run the shower and the hand held spray.. Views from the living room were excellent.. Curtains were a bit harder to manage as the tie ups were a little bit cumbersome when we wanted to pull them back.. so that we could really see the view.. Bathroom needed a good bath mat for stepping out after a shower- and some specific hooks or a rack to place towels.. Kitchen was well appointed and easy but had only one dish towel. Needed a bit better seating area for a meal at home.. We used the white desk behind the couch as the square red table was too small.
  : Bathroom window was very very strange because it was blocked out completely.. I guess because it faced the Street and construction was being done but it did leave a draft and it was a little bit unsightly..?

  : The actual apartment building is lovely (beautiful big windows in the living room and high ceilings in both rooms) and the location is great. It's only a short walk down the hill to the sea and the road it was situated on has lovely independent shops and eateries. The walk to Brighton Pier is around 20 minutes which is great if you appreciate a nice stroll next to the sea like I do :)
  : The apartment just needed some overall TLC. There are a few bulbs that need replacing throughout the property, and the window in the bathroom needs replacing. The plastic board that's currently covering the hole where the window should be doesn't let in any additional light, and also lets in a lot of noise. As this apartment is situated on a busy road, anything to help block out the noise is really helpful for light sleepers. You couldn't close the curtains in any of the rooms properly because of how the curtain poles were connected, so that was a bit bothersome for the living room in the evening when you wanted some privacy. I was also a bit disappointed to see there was no Milk or UHT milks so I could have a cup of tea first thing in the morning (I appreciate not everyone likes hot drinks, but it would have been nice to have a little tea & coffee station as you get in even the most budget hotels). It would have been nice to also have at least one hand towel as well as bath towels. I did not like the toiletries - it was like past guests had just left their bottles of body wash, shampoo, and conditioners there so it just felt a bit grubby. The sound of the boiler in the room personally didn't bother me, but I can see why some would find it difficult to sleep with it continuously heating up. I know the booking specifies "No Parking", but I think for the price guests are paying and for it to not be in the centre of Brighton, it would be nice to be able to have a weekend guest permit for the spaces outside the property, or discounted parking at a local multi-storey which I saw advertised when trying to decide where I was going to park over the weekend. It's such a lovely building and location, but these small things really did let it down.

  : Beautiful apparment and great location for my needs, only thing was that the apartment was dirty. Other than that we did enjoy our stay and believe the apartment is worth it, if cared for more.
  : We found previous occupants wet underwear in the washing machine, the pillowcase and duvet were stained/dirty and we had no cleaning supplies (i.e. broom and dustpan) so we weren't able to clean the living room if needed. We do not feel the place had been cleaned adequately before our arrival (or at least not thoroughly) to warrent the 65 cleaning fee. Other thing, it would have been nice to know that there was work being done to the building, since we had the scaffolding outside the windows with various workmen.

  : I will say that this apartment is in a good location and a decent size. The bed was comfortable and linen was clean.But that is where the good news ends.When going through a private host you understand that the standards arent as high as a professional host but we were super disappointed with the cleanliness of this place.
  : This property has not been cleaned by a professional months! The mould in the shower is proof of this to me. Water damage on ceiling of bathroom with large areas of paint coming away. There were food scraps around the bin resulting in little fruit flies, spilt flour in the cupboard, a sticky brown liquid inside the door where the washing machine is housed, both fridges were unplugged so I had to pull one out to plug in and there were more dried food scraps and a sticky residue, bedroom floor was not vacuumed, crockery and utensils were soiled, dresser in bedrooms surface was dirty and sticky.The couch cushions are torn and it has a strange odour.It would have been nice to be warned that the front of the building is covered in scaffolding and about the guys working on it. The workers have left their rubbish in guests line of site and you cant open the windows due to the debris built up against the window.I spoke with someone in the neighbourhood and their understanding was that it is paint restoration and in their opinion should be finished early November.Either Terry is getting taken for a ride by their cleaner or we as the customers are.
