  : What a laughably terrible experience… I’d avoid this place like the plague. 1. Door locked and whole place deserted when I arrived. 2. Was told on an email that 4pm was check in time - I arrived at about 4.30, rang the bell, knocked. No answer.3 Finally, after 20 minutes, a couple emerged who had the misfortune to also be staying there. They told me “there’s nobody here. I wouldn’t bother if I were you.”4 Got inside and the couple gave me the front door passcode. This was not offered by the owner by email. So how was I supposed to enter? It was only luck that got me in, I could’ve been locked out for hours. 5 Place immediately reminiscent of the Bates Motel with a big staircase leading upstairs to my ‘penthouse’ room. The whole place smelt very fusty, like it hadn’t been open in years, seriously unpleasant. The room reeked. Absolute disgrace. Tired 70s decor, very basic. Good bed, but that was it. Also extremely hot even with the windows open.6. No toilet paper, no tissues. No phone, no reception…ridiculous.7 Finally realised that my key to the penthouse was in a key shelf on the wall. Again this hadn’t been communicated by email, although at least notification of the room I was staying in was buried in there. 8 Didn’t seem to be anyone serving breakfast the following morning. Again, nobody at all around. Bizarre.What a rip-off. A joke of a place, avoid.

  : The room was not clean with a lot of dust and cobwebs. Most of the towels were stained along with the pillow cases. The toilet and shower were old and dated with the toilet not flushing properly.

  : The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. New beds had just been installed into every room, so we were 1 of the first to use them.Nice full English breakfast. Handy for local bars and restaurants.Short drive to Cleethorpes.
  : Car parking would be a problem if the B & B was full

  : Location was close to Brigg town centre.
  : Room 3, "Wold" is a disgrace, dirty, smelly room. Stains on the carpet and furniture. No mattress or pillow protector. Filth everywhere and looks like it's hasn't been cleaned for years. Dead insects on the window sills, dirty windows. Just holes in the bathroom wall were once a toilet roll holder sat. It reminded me of a badly run old people's home. I wouldn't store my garden tools in room 3 let alone market it as a deluxe room and charge people to stay in it. To sum up room 3 "Wold" , it would have been a great backdrop for a scene in the film "Trainspotting". If rooms could get Covid 19 they would look like this.
