  : The sheets were clean and the location was great.
  : Wow, where to start: The place stank of stale bodies. Holes in bedroom wall. Dirty bathroom and room. Dirty carpets throughout hotel. No remote control for tv. Broken light fittings. Room in general not cleaned. Door didnt open fully and had to be shoved to make room to get in. Cracked tile on bathroom floor (cut feet hazard). Openly weeping plaster over bath. Wi-Fi password is not secure as everyone in village has it. Food was so bad we all had to leave our breakfasts (left before breakfast the second day to get out sharpish). No evening dining there but said on the booking that dining was available (kitchen is out of order apparently. How they cooked breakfast I dont know, but it was awful on a plate. We think a microwave as the pancakes were rock hard but hot, and the scrambled egg was a block off lubber). Poorly maintained property. You get two keys. One for bedroom door and the second was not explained, but it appears to be for the side door so you can come and go as you wish. Thats fine, but theres also a key code required to open the door and no one gave it to us. Second day as we left the side door was propped open and a random bloke was standing there having a cigarette and had no intention of moving from the door even though with three us and bags it was clear we wanted to get out as there literally nowhere for us to go, so we had to ask. I know thats petty, but a weekend in a horrible place and then that. We left and breathed a sigh of relief, vowing to never return. Staff that dont care. Rang 4 times to complain and the manager has never called back after promising recompense.

  : Although the room was the honeymoon suite it was very dimly lit tv was out of action bathroom was very dim and the light in the mirror was not working so difficult to see to have a shave and the fire alarm went off at 10pm and again at 8.00am in the morning

  : The staff were friendly.
  : When we arrived we was told they are no longer serving breakfast as it is out of season !!They said we had breakfast in our room which consisted of a muffin that had bed sitting there all day and instant porridge which neither of us liked There was also no lunch or dinner menu and very little option in the area. We had to buy are own good from the co op. We felt that this was very poor especially as we had paid for breakfast. When we complained the manager gave us half a bottle of wine by way of compensation!!

  : Room needed cleaning. Tv didnt work.Curtains hanging off rail. Shower room had mould. No food available even though when we booked it was, but we were not informed. Cold. We left a day early but there was no staff around to explain why.
