  : Do not always trust Google Maps is the first thought it crosses my mind as I think about how we eventually arrived at Guest House Slivek :-) There is a bad, sloppy road and a much better one we have discovered by simply walking around.By any standard the property is huge and even if some of the rooms in the Guest House are accommodating other tourists your privacy is respected.The breakfast consisted in huge, various portions of excellent types of Bulgarian cheeses, also capsicum and - above all - tomatoes with a long time forgotten taste (to this time scientists have not decided if tomato is a vegetable or a fruit :-) ), salami, bacon, omelette (with incorporated cheese, of course!), fruit jams and honey to accompany your morning coffee or tea! We were also served served juicy, cold, sweet watermelon and... BANITSA, a cheese pie home made by Katryna, the host!!To finish the food section I have to share with you that although in Slivek there is no restaurant, by courtesy of our hosts we were able to place phone orders at "Drakata", the most famous restaurant in the nearest town - Lovech - or at the pizzeria "Napoli" in the same city. Orders were delivered to us in about 45-60 minutes, and the cost (including delivery) was more than reasonable. So you were enjoying lunch/dinner with a scenic view in front of your eyes...Of course we went to Krushuna Waterfalls (now sort of National Park, some 28 km from Slivek - entrance fee 4 BGN per person), with a clean, large pool just at the entrance and also to Devetashka Cave (also a fee of 4 BGN per person) - the cave being advertised as one of the last refuge of cave bats in Europe. However name of 'cave bats' in times of COVID-19 pandemic sounded a bit frightful... :DWe also paid a visit to a bigger Bulgarian town a some 40-50 km from Slivek - Pleven.
  : We were three persons, a couple and a single traveler with two rooms with common access to a large balcony. However, for the three of us we had just one bathroom to share, without direct ventilation. Access to the bathroom was from a common corridor. There was no shower cabin, only a plastic curtain and the drain could not prevent water from collecting. I am sure the last aspect is easily remediable.
