  : Gorgeous quiet location. Loved the tiled floors throughout so no fears about muddy paw prints slipping past us. It remained warm and cosy inside despite the dreary weather outside. We enjoyed cosying up with a book by the fire. Having breakfast in the bright conservatory room was nice whilst listening to the rain fall on the glass. We didn't get to visit the town of Tavistock until the last day and we weren't able to stay long. What we did see we liked. Worth going back for a visit.
  : The 6pm check in was really difficult for us. It meant just hanging around in the car in the rain for hours. 9 am checkout was also difficult as we spent half of Thursday getting everything ready for early departure. On our trip down to Devon we had said we wouldnt be doing it again with the late check in but after a few days there we said we would be willing to put up with it and already looked for dates to return.
