Disappointing
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : There was a working elevator and a decent view from the balcony. The water pressure was good. The staff at the reception extremely friendly and competent. It was fairly quiet most of the time.
  : It was chaos: they were doing construction on the parking area (which was not listed on the add or until after the cancellation deadline and there was no discount for the inconvenience) meaning it was very hard to find parking up and down the mountain (and as a mobility challenged couple this was very difficult). The first night the fire alarm went off twice- meaning walking down from the eighth floor and waiting outside to be allowed back in- not exactly the relaxing vacation vibe hoped for. The location was listed as Braunlage, but in reality the Hotel is in nearby Hohegei, and the direct route was blocked meaning a ten minute detour to every drive. The bed listed as a @large double bed is actually a French style 140x200, too small for us, and the sleeping sofa was a bit broken so that it could also not be used as a bed.
