  : It was a little cheaper than we would have spent at a nice condo.
  : Don’t get me started. For them to call this a resort is a crime. And for it to have Excellent ratings is very fishy. It is an old run down motel that was probably built in the 60’s. Somehow I didn’t look at all the pictures. I guess I went off the words, resort and the high rating and got duped. Our extended family come to Branson every Thanksgiving holiday and are used to staying at nice condos for around 10 people and I really screwed up on this one and you don’t want a lot of mad women on vacation. We had a room upstairs with 3 beds and a room downstairs with 2 beds. The stairs to get upstairs were scary and the balcony felt unstable.. The bathroom was so small and narrow, you could only get one person in and you almost had to turn sideways to get in. The water had a strong sulfur smell. Our refrigerator didn’t work. The tv only had a few channels (no ESPN, Disney, etc). My wife complained about the bed, saying she felt like she was going to roll down on me. Friday night, we were the only car in the parking lot and we got there around 10 pm. There were other vehicles Saturday night.

  : The location was perfect for our itinerary and easy to get anyplace in the area. There is a little country store across the street, which was convenient. We enjoyed the grill each evening to cook out.
  : The only thing keeping me from rating this as a 10 is the tap water. Once we were in the room there was a sign that for purposes of drinking, bottled water might be best. While the water is safe to drink it’s very cloudy. That was a minor inconvenience the first night because we hadn’t known to bring in drinking water. After the first night, we were prepared and even used bottled water to make our coffee. That’s our only negative about the place.

  : Small motel, great price, near the lake, surprisingly quieter than I expected, staff was kind and pleasant and I had the pool to myself for 2 days. Awww… just to float with no cares.
