  : The hotel is situated well, in the centre of Brandenburg. It is sometimes possible to park outside the hotel (time restrictions for free parking, basically only outside working hours). The hotel does have an underground car park but as a guest one cannot reserve a space and it is quite narrow and cramped (currently 12 / night). Breakfast was above average for a hotel chain and the waitress was particularly helpful and friendly. The rooms are average. The bed was comfortable but there was only space for a bedside table on one side. Be sure to ask for a room overlooking the quadrangle at the rear of the hotel. We did and so our stay was relatively quiet. A friend stayed the week before us and had a room overlooking the front of the hotel and it was very noisy - particularly because one has to have the window open when it is hot.
  : The room was very warm. A fridge is provided but no mini-bar (it took some time to discover how to turn the fridge on - a plug socket labelled "Fridge" did not have the desired effect - it was only by chance that I found the on/off button in the fridge). The water of the shower was not held at a constant temperature so one had to continually adjust the tap to prevent being scalded or cold shocked. Wifi is provided but the password is only displayed at the reception desk - I suppose this makes it easier if having to change the password frequently but it is not particularly convenient for guests. Normally one would find the password displayed in the information package in the room - such a package however does not exist. There is no service to the rooms unless one specifically asks for it - so no cleaning or bed making. The cosmetic products are available only on request. This is apparently for health and safety reasons but is obviously to save money. The charge for a double room with breakfast is more than 150 a night and so I would expect a little more comfort than that offered.
