  : I will say the bed was very comfortable. the room was very clean. But please read below
  : Myself and my son and the rest of my family travelled up from the south coast to attend A 60th party at the hotel. We were given our room pass of room only to find that someone was still using the room! which could have been very embarrassing. Back to reception to tell the guy ,then after a while we were told a story of the accidental mix up. I would not have been happy if my room was invaded by guests. The next room we were allotted bearing in mind I booked a twin room, was a double room and we were told that the connecting door (room 001 and 002) would be locked! On pointing out that this was a double room and not what we had booked. It was as if he was doing us a favour giving us both rooms. My son is 30 and obviously we didn't want to share a bed. After a long journey and being messed about I was not happy but tried to understand. The hairdryer in 001 didn't work. My son later in the evening9.30 ordered a veggie burger with the £30 voucher we were given ,this food did not turn up at all. So after all that I'm sorry to say I wasn't impressed. Staff seemed to be all over the place not really happy or knowing what they were doing. For £174 i expected an easier experience. I don't like being lied to and I would have expected the staff to know which room were twin, double disabled etc. Some compensation is expected as we didn't even get to use the voucher ,which to be honest is not a good pay off for all the mix up from your booking system? staff? whatever caused it. I hope the guy in the room we barged into was told that his room was entered ,he wasn't in there fortunately .Feel free to contact me if you need any more classification on this.

  : No sleep as placed by a very busy road , sirens going off throughout the night followed with traffic and Lorrys Stayed as no hot water at home and honestly should have stayed at home in the cold.Gutted as think the hotel is amazing in all aspects, yet the one room I stayed in was a let down Spoke to the lady in the morning and was offered a free night stay, but no e-mail or record of me being upset Hence my response, sorry I’ve email to share this , Glen

  : The noise! , both Friday and Saturday night there were functions with loud DJ music. Hotels need better sound proofing, if it holds these events.
